Thinking To Apply For True And Share Wirelessly

Featured Replies

I m thinking to apply for TA broadband 1M/S,I've got True line. There are 4 computers in my office.Assuming computer A is the computer connected directly to True ADSL,If i share the connection to the remaining 3 computers by bluetooth or WIFI ad-hoc lan,is it a good idea? Will I get the same speed if sharing over bluetooth?or which is better?Bluetooth or WLAN?

If you are networking, share over WLAN. Bluetooth is a low level communication standard but does not have the levels of service(security, distance, reloable delivery, collision detection etc....) inherent to an ethernet network.

For youe WLAN, bear in mind :

1) disable SSID braodcast

2) change SSID regularly

3) use WPA encryption on the link.WEP is easily hackable.

4) enable MAC filtering

5) change deult users/logins on your wifi router

Otherwise someone can easily hack your connection.
