Skype Problems

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was using skype before. I paid two weeks back for skype and used Net-Phone service with no problems.

Today I tried, my payments getting canceled. I processed the card 3 times by using 3 different cards thinking they will accept one (VISA, Amex, Master). Same results.

Chat with the customer support. The answer was, they have changed the payment processor, now having problems and that they are working on it. I mean, what's the point to have a payment processor who do not accept a payment? :D

Wanted for me to stay tuned.. Then again, what's the point to stay tuned when I can not use it? :o

I had this bad experiance with some other services before. They start this service like this and all of a sudden, same reply. Is this another scam? I am not sure.

Any other cheap, good Net to Pay service you guys are aware of?

Thanks

kwiz

Here's the one I have been using, and it works great so far for me:

Sipphone

The "softphone" software is free and available for both Macs and PCs. Computer to computer calls are free, and computer to landline calls are very cheap with acceptable quality. Calls to the UK and USA cost US $0.035/minute.

Try Nikotel

Cheap and very reliable

China, USA, Spain, UK, Austria, France, Norway, Netherlands, Germany..:2.9c/mn

Belgium, Greece, Japan, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Poland... : 3.9c/mn
