Work Premit For Thailand

Featured Replies

I am seeking Information !

To apply for a Work Permit, to work as an Chef or Butcher in Thailand it requires a Health Check up. does anybody know, what exactly contains such an Check Up? does this include any Blood Tests, as well as HIV Test? or ist it basically an Physical Check Up only? (same as to apply for Driving License)?

PS: no requirements from the Employer!

You can go to nearly any clinic or hospital and ask for a 'bpy lahp lohng paht' or medical certificate for work. Usually just take your blood pressure, listen to your heart, ask you if you are ok, and 80 baht (in my case) then hand you the certificate. :o

the check up for the work permit usually involves blood pressure, a listen to your heart and lungs and thats about it. nothing to be concerned about.
