I live in Phuket, i have a tourist visa, i forgot to extend my visa, i know it's bad. My visa finished on 3 december. What is the better solution?

1-Go to the immigration office to pay the overstay and pay an extend visa

2- Go to airport, pay the overstay and fly to another country to get a new visa

What do u think? I'm very worry....

I would go to the airport, pay the fine and hop on a flight somewhere for a new visa.

IMHO You've left it a bit late to expect immigration to give you a back-dated extension, although miracles do happen.

Whatever you decide to do, do it NOW, the longer you leave it the worse it will get.

You can go to immigration pay the fine and they will extend it for 7 days , and in that 7 days you can do a visa run to Ranong or malaysia for another visa.

You will have to LEAVE the country and then return.

No offense intended Tattycakes but advice like yours will only get folks into trouble.

Suggest to go to the Airport, pay the fine, fly out.

It is possible to go to Immigration to pay the overstay and extent for 7days for addl THB 1,900.-, but you are at the mercy of the officer, better to fly out.

Thanks a lot to everybody for your good advice, i booked a flight for tomorrow and gonna stay home before to go, hope the police don't check me on the way to airport.....
