What To See After You Have 6 Times?

Featured Replies

We have been to Bangkok more that 6 times and always looking for different things to see and do.

We have visted all the major sights, temples, Palaces weekend market etc.

Also have been to Muan Boran on the outskirts.

Anybody know of any other things that might not be as well known but still interested for us to see?

Nightlife, we normally go to Khao San road? Basically any suggestions welcome!

Visit the Sky Bar on top of State Tower / Silom at nightfall. A world's unique!

Was looking into that yesterday in fact. Can you just go for a drink there cause on the website it makes it sound that the sirocco bar is more like a seafood restaurant?

......hav ya visited the alligator wrestling school yet?? :o

Yes. Drinks are quite pricey at 300 Baht plus service and VAT but it's worth it in my opinion. There's also a dress code of no shorts, no "open" shoes (i.e. sandals or flip-flops), no vests / singlets and no large bags or backpacks. Oh, and I think no hats either.

have you been to taling chan floating market and bout tours from there?

been to phuthamonthon?

museum of thai massage in the sri ratcha hospital?

maybe you should write where you been so somebody might have a suggestion.

And do the Bangkok Bicycle Tour with ABC on sukhumvit. Worth a visit!

Ok here goes.... we have visited The Grand palace, Wat Po, Wat Arun, Klong Tour, Royal Barge Museum, Golden Mount, Giant Swing, Weekend market, Muan Boran, National Museum, Vimaneck Palace, Jim Thomsons House, Patpong, Khoa San Road,Ayuthaya, China Town NOT Floating market but don' want to go there as it just seems soo touristical! More Temples but can't remember the name, Rose garden .....

Hope this helps a bit!

Was thinking of visiting Ananta samakhom Throne Hal this time or a waterpark and if i can't think of anything we would have gone back to the weekend market!

If you like museums and other similar attractions, you might want to check out Suan Prakkad on Sri Ayuthaya Road - it's 3 minutes walk from Phaya Thai Skytrain station and it's marked on the map in the station so easy to locate.

...the Human Imagery Museum?

What I usually do with people who have seen the sights: take them throught the Klongs. Just on a normal passenger boat. Then let them decide where to get off (some are quite brave!) and scout around on foot. For a special treat I take them to sample all kinds of food at the farmer market in Kampheng Phet.

Go swimming....it is guaranteed to be different water than the last time so no need to be bored.

aehm.... I hope your post was not related to mine. (the part about deciding where to get off). :o

Disclaimer: Klong swimming is not a discipline I would recommend for humans (and other living things)

There is no way I'm walking in there naked! I will take my business elsewhere :o
