templedog
Can anyone please advise me on the latest iphone. I went to MBK to purchase a new iphone and discovered that there is an updated version with 1.1.2? They are asking 25,000 Baht, as opposed to the 20,000 Baht for the previous version. Is there a significant difference worth the price increase, and what are the differences? Please advise, thank you!!!
DamianMavis
They seem to be feeding people some line about 1.1.2..... the firmware version is not important, what is important is that the newest models of iphones cannot be unlocked yet which means they have a limitted stock of the old iphones that you can use in Thailand and that has made the price go up. Dont understand why they are telling people the price increase is based on a firmware that you can upgrade to yourself at home if you can follow the directions on the net. If you can find an unlocked iphone for cheaper because it has an older firmware than buy that immediately, as that is a silly reason to have a different price. You can upgrade the firmware yourself unless you are computer diabled... (like my girlfriend). Damian
moo9
In addition 1.1.2 offers no significant advantage.
