thaitross
My elderly mother (83 years-old) has joined me in Thailand as I am the only one of my family who is able to care for her. I have a non-immigrant B visa (on a one-year-extension). I would like to apply for a dependent visa for her rather than a retirement visa if possible. I have been told in the past that it is possible, that there are even people who have done so, but have just been told by the immigration office in Kanchanaburi that it isn't possible. Can anyone who has had experience in this area please let me know what I need to do. Thanks in advance for your help. Thaitross
