Hope someone can answere question.

my details on American PP

retirement extension permitted to stay till 3 JUN 2008. Multi re-entry permit expires 3 JUN 2008. extended 15 MAY 2007,

what is the relationship between the Visa and re-entry expire dates for example?

If I extend retirement visa again 15 MAY 2008 bringing me to 3 JUN 2009. but do not bother with new re-entry permit.

Will I be able to come and go on the old re-entry permit up to 3 JUN 2008 without having a problem with the new extended retirement visa?

so if I leave Thailand on 30 MAY 2008 an come back 1 JUN 2008. will there be a problem? Or should I just play it safe and get another multi re-entry permit when I extend my retirement visa. But curious to know what would happen if I did not.

1. Re-entry permit permits you to enter up to your current permitted to stay stamp.

2. When you extend your stay you must get a matching re-entry permit to return without losing that stay.

3. If you do not obtain a re-entry permit you will only be allowed to enter with a 30 day visa exempt stamp as you do not have a valid visa for entry.

Red stamp reminder in my passport spells it out "Once a new extension stamp is made, a new re-entry permit application is needed as a previous re-entry permit is automatically invalid."
