A photo from a bygone era of a Royal Procession. There is the back of a sedan chair viewable in the front of the column. I have another shot taken a few moments earlier of the sedan chair passing. To the right of the image is what appears to be a Royal Photographer with a view camera. These were apparently taken by an Italian sometime early in the last century since all the hand written notations are in that language. I suspect a hand held roll film camera was used because of the print size. It is continuous tone so it is not likely a mass produced copy. I still have a bit more to do on the restoration but I thought it might be interesting to look at amateur work from a bygone era in Thailand.

Here's the other shot of the same procession. The focus was better that the other one. A lot of work left to be done on this one too. I restored most of the flaked emulsion but still have a long way to go before its finished.
