Von
I am Filipino citizen, currently working with Thai company here in Samutprakan. I have a plan to bring my family and stay with me while I'm working in the kingdom. My country is not able to give a 1 year visa to my family but they can give 3 months max. non imm. visa. Now, anybody can help me where can I apply the extension of stay in the kingdom for my family after 3 months and what are the requirements needed? can I apply the extension for them same as my visa? what shall I do? thanks. Sunbelt Asia
If you are working for a company in Thailand. I surmise you have a non-immigration "B" visa and a work permit. Your embassy in the Philippines cannot grant more than a 3 month visa for your family as they need the immigration in Bangkok to look at your work permit and documents. Once your family arrives and immigration is able to do so in Bangkok then you should have no problem getting the year visa for your family. Good luck!
