15 months ago I had my letter from the UK Embassy 'Notarized' by the Thai Passport office. 3 months later on retirement visa application I presented the same letter plus photo copy (at BKK Immigration) The photo copy wa retained and the original returned to me. THE Question is: How long is this Notarized document valid for? My retirement visa is due for re-newal in April 2008.

I think the notarized letter is not a requirement. Every time I've renewed I've produced a new embassy letter. Peace of mind for a small effort.
