The Patch

Featured Replies

Alright, as everyone no doubt knows I'm coming in August to bkk for a study abroad that'll last 5-6 months. I recently got back on birth control due to mild PCOS and as the nuvaring made me a psycho bitch I switched over to the patch. I searched the archives for birth control and could only find information on various pills, and I know that those are easy enough to obtain without a perscription. Is the patch equally available? So far I don't have any bad side effects and don't want to risk switching over to yet another form of bc, so worst case scenario I'll come over with 18 patches.

umm never use hte patch, better bring ur own ;just in case...

I've read the patch doesn't work so well in high heat and humidity--it doesn't stick as well and can come off. Something to bear in mind....

Oh god that's right. Crap. Pills would probably be the easiest hormonal birth control to take in Thailand.
