oldbamboo
I was almost about to embark on my second un-travel insured journey to LOS. The prices were at a level that the gamble of not taking it was for the 'tight wad' that I am not even questionable. Unfortunately, last visit, I had a bad motorcycle accident which cost me around £200 this wasn't so much but I certainly wanted to get insurance this time. Everyone in the family has given me pressure to get it and all have made suggestions such as, Post office, Egg etc, etc. I am 35 and just miss the younger traveller age and also I am in Thailand for more than 30 or 45 days (the maximum allowed by most companies). I was waiting inside Sainsburys and looking at the millions of services leaflets and low and behold, they sell travel insurance. I checked out the website and got a quote for 3 months stay in Thailand £101.50. Surely the cheapest? www.sainsburysbank.co.uk Not wishing to advertise JS or anything just trying to help out my fellow travellers.
