Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Issued Tourist Visa in Laos Nov. 27 2007. Entered Thailand December 03, 2007. Do I use Nov. 27 or Dec. 03 when starting my 60 day count ?

December 3 is day number one. But you should not have to count anything - they put a stamp in your passport of when you have to leave.

There are 2 stamps; 1 on the Visa itself - "3 DEC 2007" and on my entry stamp there are 2 dates stamped "3 DEC 2007" and "31 JAN 2008". WHAT SHOULD BE DECIPHERED FROM THIS ?

NEVER MIND FIGURED IT OUT 60 DAYS FROM DEC. 3 IS JAN. 31

Glad to see you figured it out. For others who may be puzzled what this was all about, your entry stamp reads:

ADMITTED 03 DEC 2007

UNTIL 31 JAN 2008

“ADMITTED” is the date you arrived in Thailand. “UNTIL” is the latest date when you have to leave Thailand.
