TAT is advertising at our site through an advertising agency. We are one of several sites they are targeting in a long campaign.

I can certainly understand the need for sponsors, to make a site viable. However, the TAT is a group that is constantly in the news, as an official government agency. Are any and all comments regarding the TAT now subject to the "Sponsor Alert: Red Card, No Lookie, No Touchie!" policy. That will be difficult to define, moderate and judge. If people aren't able comment on an agency like this, you are walking down an slippery slope.... Good luck!

I guess they are targeting web visitors from outside Thailand. As we are a high traffic site they are targeting us directly instead of via the Google Adwords/Adsense network.

There are rules regarding sponsors that can be found here - these are applied regardless of who the sponsor is.
