Hi,

Heading down to Phuket soon and we're staying at the Dusit at Bang Tao Bay, has anyone stayed at this hotel before? Is it recommended?

Also, how much should a taxi from the airport to the hotel cost? Is there a public bus that runs to the area?

Not sure about the hotel service as I've not stayed there... it certainly looks very nice & expensive, as I pass through sometimes on my surfing trips. The staff seem friendly enough. I know Bang Tao well - nice long stretch of beach, can sometimes get quite littered.. gets some good swell sometimes!

Should be able to get a taxi for around 500 baht from the airport if you haggle.. maybe less if your lucky.. but more likely more this time of year. There is a bus I think, not sure of costs though.
