Dear experts,

I am an indian resident, for traveling to Thailand do i need to prepare the thai visa before i reach thailand ie. from my home country or can i obtain in bankok on arrival.

In case, i want to purchase something, for how much amount in terms of dollar or rupees with a tourist visa can i purchase? Your kind answer is solicitaed.

IIRC An Indian national is entitled to a Visa On Arrival which will give you 15 days in Thailand, it may be more convenient for you to get a visa in your home country, there always seem to be big queues at the VOA desk.

NOTE A VOA is not the same as the 30 day Visa Exemption stamp that certain countries get, often causes confusion.

for those applying TV in singapore,please take note that now they will only issue it upon seeing your return tickets...was there yesterday and heard the lady telling all those in the Q....and i think the cost is $50 to $85 dollars....not very sure of the details as i was there for my non b...
