Just wondering if there is oracle contract work there in Thailand with good rates for a Irish lad...I have ten years + exoerince in oracle development.

What you reckon guys..and tips ?

Oracle work eh? Well, it would seem that if you can predict winning lottery numbers and times/dates of power cuts in Jomtien, then I think there'll be plenty of opportunities for you!

You may also want to try employment agencies within your own country, or those in Bangkok, or forums relating to that type of work in particular.

I doubt you will have any luck.

No-one is going to apply for a work permit for you as a contractor.

You will be best served to start your own company and work under that.

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
