Visa Issues

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I will be going to Thailand in july. During my time there i will be going to Indonesia (Jakarta) for 4 days, then return to Thailand for rest of holiday, total 26 days. I understand i will recieve a 30 day visa exemption upon my arrival in Thailand. How or will this effect me, because of me leaving and returning to the country during this period.

Many thanks,

Edd78

I will assume you have a passport that allows 30 day visa exempt entry (ends when you depart) - you receive one such entry on initial arrival and another when you return from your trip.

Thanks for quick reply.

I have UK passport, so no problem with 30 day exempt entry. Your explination was the answer i was looking for. I've been to Thailand a few times, but never left the country during my holiday period.

Was a little unsure.

Thanks.

The only limit that you have on visa exempt entries is that you cannot be in Thailand for more than 90 days in a 6 month period. You can have as many as you want, just the days cannot add up to more than 90 days.
