Puzzle: Guess Your Number Game

My brain and I get on fairly well - I don't try to strain it too much.

I enjoyed this puzzle ... no idea how it works. Perhaps someone can illuminate me.

Nice Peter. Can't work oyt the exact method, however you are picking the number in series of steps. Also, the door at the end is a fix. It's behind whichever door you choose. Try it twice and do everything the same except the door at the end...

I think it's not that difficult. Notice the other numbers of the same color as the number you picked.

A couple of the steps are in there just to confuse you, has no correlation to your number at all.

That's true. Picture your number and pick a colour is superfluous!

Everything except initally picking a number and clicking its colour and then choosing the house containing your number is superfluous and merely a small pink fish.

The act of choosing a colour and a house uniquely identifies your number as each house contains only one number of each colour (plus an extra that doesn't appear in the first page).
