Job Announcement For Myanmar / Burmese

Angkor Translation & Design Agency, a leading translation and design firm in Cambodia, is currently looking for professional freelance Burmese translator(s) to join our team and work on current and future translation projects and/or interpreting assignments for our agency.

The candidates should be able to translate English into Burmese (Myanmar) and/or Burmese (Myanmar) into English professionally and have at least one or two years of experience in translation and/or interpreting.

Job Requirements:

-Must have a Bachelor's degree in any field. A degree in English Literature or training in any translation/interpreting course is preferred.

-Must have extensive general knowledge about a wide variety of topics.

-Must be computer literate (Typing Burmese/Mayanmar and English. Using the Internet and emails).

-Must be able to translate or interpret English into Burmese (Myanmar) and/or Burmese (Myanmar) into English.

-Must be able to work independently but meet (tight) deadlines.

-Must be able to use email and messenger as a means of communications.

-Must have very strong code of ethics and personal responsibility.

Job Details:

We will train you how to work with us efficiently and how to communicate with our team(s)/agency.

Each deadline for each assignment/project will be agreed or set before the project is assigned to our translators. The responsible translator(s) must complete the translation project/assignment provided and submit it to our agency on or before the agreed deadline(s).

Payment:

We provide very competitive pay for our translators. The pay will be based on experience and the professional skills of our translators.

The payment can be done via Moneygram, Moneybookers, Western Union, and Bank Transfer although alternative arrangements can be provided for if necessary.
