Any Experts On Thai Music Out There?

Hello - I'm studying Thai music as part of an ethnomusicology couse.  I'll be giving a presentation.  I used to live in Thailand for a few years,  and I'm a musician,  so I have a few points of reference,  but there are some things that I am trying to find out that I'm having a hard time with.  I would be interested in anyone's point of view,  and also in getting suggests for places to look for information.

Some of the areas I am currently looking at are:

*  Where does Muay Thai music come from (I've read its adapted from Indonesian military bands?)

*  Morlam ...  I was flipping through the channels a while back and saw an Indian style that was VERY similar to Morlam...  I'm trying to find out what it is and why it is similar

*  Nora music ...  what is it and where does it come from

*  Lam That style?  any history/samples?

*  How does Thai music function in a religious context

*  How does Thai music function in a cultural context

*  any interesting or enlightening bits of information relating to Thai music/history/instuments

Thanks
