Ed Visa Run For Thai Language Student

Featured Replies

Hi,

having recently begun studies in a Thai language school, I am looking to find a quick way to process my documents for my ED visa.

I prefer not to fly and am in Bangkok so I am considering travelling by land to either Burma, Cambodia or Laos.

I really would like to minimise my stay out of Thailand.

All advice would be most welcome.

Regards,

Alex

Alex, you should ask your school to help you to obtain the ED visa. If they cannot or are not willing perhaps you should look for another school.

Walen School, Mac

My Facebook: Mac Walen - www.facebook.com/macwalen - you are welcome to add me, never too many friends.

Language schools cannot get a new visa issued incountry now can they ?? Thats what the above post implies ??

No, I think Mac is just saying that the school should be able to assist hiim in getting all the paperwork and letting him know where to go and everything.

He makes no mention of not having paperwork - he does not want to fly so is asking which land crossing from Bangkok would be fastest/logical. Of the three indicated Vientiane would appear to be the best choice as PP blows hot and cold and do not believe Rangoon will even issue (at least do not recall any recent success reports from there).
