Ubc-high Speed Internet

Featured Replies

Can any one tell me about this ubc -internet special -- i.e. no phone needed ,will it be available outside of Bankok ( in Ubon ) is it worth it? thanks

I havew not heard of UBC branching out into this field.

Do you mean IPSTAR?

That is a different business, from the people who provide the satellite link for UBC.

They are the ones who left UBC in the proverbial, last week!!

I sure hope someone can answer this inquiry. I have seen the promotion on their comercial plug but it is always in Thai and beyone me to understand. It looks like the promotion runs until Oct. 31 but looking at their website I find nothing about it at all.

My suspicion is that it will be only BKK since up country will need a modem for upload to internet and then download from Satellite.

Does anyone have a way to check this one out?

Wash,

Go to ubctv.com right hand, upper, click for english language

True also offers cable internet, via UBC cables.

Just a thought: Shouldn't UBC really focus on getting their act together regarding doing quality TV broadcasting before they go into the ISP venture?

Sigh! :o

UBC, CS Loxinfo... same coffer, different logos.

:o

Just looked at UBC website and the promotion is in conjunction with True...no charge for modem and discounted pricing etc.

My sentiments exactly! The only thing that changes with UBC over the years, is the increase in price... :D
