Traffic Directions From Pantip Plaza To Soi Sala Daeng?

I will be picking up some computer equipment at Pantip Plaza and will need to take a taxi back to my home on Soi Sala Daeng.

I believe that I can take the taxi up Petchburi Road and turn left (by BTS Ratcheweri) onto Phayathai Road, and then turn left again at Siam Discovery and go straight on rama1 until.... I need to make a right turn onto Ratchadamri Road which will then take me to Silom road. Is it possible to turn right onto Rachadamri Road?

Can't remember if you can hang a right at Rachadamri, but instead of turning left at Rama 1 you can go straight up Phyathai to Rama IV, turn left and then right into Silom with the arrow. Don't go up to the overpass.

From Rama I road you can't turn right into Rachadamri (though it's possible to make a turn into the Intercontinental Hotel and pop out onto Rachadamri road heading towards Silom). And sometimes you can't turn left at Siam Discovery and have to go behind Siam Discovery and Paragon instead.

Better to go with the path Xangsamhua ("3-headed elephant"??) suggested, much easier.

Agree with Pampal. Are you going to be a back-seat driver or what? I'm sure the real driver will just love you giving directions...

Anyway, with his meter on I reckon it should be about 70 baht.
