On Krabi, he might not have an address, or he probably wouldn't have a PO box. It's possible someone in the Krabi PO might happen to know him and where he lives...

For a Thai person to register a PO box, he must present his ID card. So the PO would have his registered address on file. This information is confidential, so the PO will not normally give it to you. A good private investigator can get it, though.

A foreigner need only present a passport. He is asked for an address, which will be kept on file, but it may not necessarily be a real address.
