I remember some years ago I caught the slow, stopping bus (red, white and blue) from Bangkok to Jomtien. If I remember correctly (but I might be wrong) the bus terminated somewhere near Beach Road. A few days ago I tried to find the terminus to go from Jomtien in the Bangkok direction, but I could not find it.

Can anyone tell me where the terminus is? Or indeed if these buses still go to Jomtien? I know the buses still have Jomtien-Pattaya- Bangkok painted on the side.

The only slow, stopping bus I can think of is the blue/white one from Ekamai in Bangkok and it runs through the Pattaya area on Sukhumvit and turns down Soi Chaiyapruek to terminate at Jomtien Beach Road.

To go in the reverse direction to Bangkok, one day I went to their little office on Soi Chaiyapruek (the office is no longer there) and was told they had no buses leaving from there. They told me I had to go to Pattaya Nua and take one of those buses. However, I do see the blue/white buses plying up Sukhumvit toward Bangkok and they stop when flagged down. I just don't know where they start their route on Sukhumvit.

Thanks wpcoe. It seems your experience is much the same as mine. I now believe these buses terminate on Sukhumvit at Pattaya Sai. i.e they do not go to Jomtien any more.

Got this bus recently from Bangkok to Jomtien. It went along Sukumvit road as far as Thepesit road then kicked me and the other Jomtien passengers off in the middle of the road, as it did a U-turn at the traffic lights and went back towards Bangkok!
