Easy Answers Aren't Coming

Hi,

I've searched for answers on this but so far am coming up empty.

Here's the scenario. January 14 was the start date for my 90 days. I left again and returned on 1 February... so at this point

a) my second 30-day visa is expired

B) I have already used 2 of my 3 permissible visa exemptions within those 90 days

These factors are problematic because if I do a third visa run ( I'm currently into overstay already) it seems it will not be possible for me to re-enter when I go to a trip to Malaysia on the 14th of March.

Is there a way for me to extend my already expired visa exemption until the 14th and then use my reentrance from Malaysia as the third visa exemption trip?

Or is it okay to do a visa run tomorrow and then leave the country again on March 14th because this is still within the 90 days since I first came into the country? I'm just worried about the "maximum of three times" rule.

Would be happy to have your input - thanks a million.

There is no limit on the number of Visa Exempt entries you can make.

The rule is , A total of 90 days in 6 months.

As you appear now to be on overstay . It would be a good idea to leave as soon as possible by air, not a land border. The fine is 500 baht a day. Unless you get caught before you make the airport in which case you face arrest and time in jail.

Once you leave you can come back again on a 30 day entry stamp.
