Just got back from jontien immigration had all paper work in order for the switch to non o somtimes called retirment visa then got told by imm application refused as NON IMM B is based on employment i am english by the way went to shaun who runs the visa shop in pattaya he advises me to do visa run to cambodia then he can sort out non o one year extension at immigration but gonna cost me 17,000 :o ,as advised on this forum before singapore is good for multi entry non imm o but how much of a gamble is it dont want to come away with just single entry. options please, :D NON IMM B expires 26th this month.

All you have to do is cross a border and return on a 30 day visa exempt entry. You can then, in first week, visit Immigration to obtain a single entry non immigrant O visa (cost 2,000 baht) and then later make your retirement extension of stay (1,900 baht) from that visa.

I have no idea why you want a multi entry non immigrant O visa from Singapore, all you need is a single entry if you plan to extend for retirement. Proof of 800k in a bank account will insure a multi entry if that is what you want. You will have to make 90 day border runs with that type of visa.
