hi has anyone got non O visa in penang can you tell me what docs you need for this visa and how long it takes

I'll move this to the Visa section where you're more likely to get a proper answer!

First you should explain for what reasons you think you qualify for a non O visa

I think the latest was that you might get one based on marriage with the proof of income (tax receipts I presume) but that the "visiting friends" route was not available.

if i know what you need to qualify then i can decide if im able to obtain this visa im basing it on married to a thai

And that is what people needed to know - based on married to a Thai.

You should have original of marriage certificate and copy, copy of spouse ID card and home register. Copies should be signed and dated by spouse. For single entry that and visa application/photo/fee is probably all that is required. There does not seem to be a set requirement at Penang for multi entry but 400k baht in a Thai bank account in your name may be the swing point.

You apply in morning and receive the next workday afternoon (1400 I believe).
