Ptv?

Featured Replies

A neighbour mentioned he has cable, I believe he said "PTV".

Never heard of it, did a google and only came up with Pakistan TV...

Anyone ever heard of it or did he mispronounce or something?

We are located in Chonburi.

Probably PSI TV at this URL

http://www.psisat.com/1024x768.php

(This is in Thai - may be other Eng. Lang. version)

Also try Dynasat (Google it)

If you find a local installer, please PM me - I've had trouble finding any action from either company.

We have PTV penz, I think it is Pattaya TV.

It has one movie channel that plays a lot of new movies with Thai subtitles to make it easier for the wife. Fox news, Reality TV, Star World, ABC Asia Pacific, Adventure 1, Fashion TV, and a few others. Call Tuky and ask her bout it!!! She will put you on to the folks that will set you up.

Theres a PSI sat outlet in Pattaya i think (is that the one you pay a one off fee?) anyway its on 3rd road in Central pattaya. If you are heading away from the beach on Central road towards Carrefour turn right onto 3rd Road and its 100m on your right (well it was a couple of months ago).

Had a look in there myself but they couldnt pinpoint what English channels you get seems to be a lot of rubbish!!

Both PSI and Dynasat offer (to those in the know) several services from Astra in Malaysia. They hack the cards and yes, you pay a one-off fee. Plus updates as required - cheap.

I am not sure of the legal status of this - UBC have the exclusive rights to satellite TV in Thailand, therefore Astro have no loss of income, 'cos they ain't allowed to trade here. And no one can force you to watch UBC - cruel and unusual punishment.

But I have been trying for three months now to get someone to instal a system for me by e-mail / phone. No one seems to do business when I am free to trade.
