I am thinking to take my wife to the snow for a week back in Oz this winter but something I herd the other day has me worried a little bit.

Last week I herd of a girl with fake boobs got her tits frozen in sub zero temparutures.

Suposedley they were rock hard and very painfull until they were eventuely thawed out when the borfriend used a hair blow dryer to defrost them.

One nipple had turned black from frost bite also.

Is this in fact can happen and what do you do to prevent it.

Actually, there is evidence that frostbite can occur in skin that is stretched thinly over the implant but I've never heard of the implant freezing. And this risk of frostbite is usually in women who have had to have major reconstructive surgery due to radical mastectomies as the result of breast cancer.

However, if this is considered as some kind of funny joke, I'd have to say that anyone who would find risks for women who have suffered from cancer and had reconstructive surgery as the means for a joke quite sick.

Actially the question makes a lot of sense. Lack of blood circulation would mean that the implants would freeze before human tissue. However, I'd imagine that the implants would have to get very cold first. Maybe the manufacturers can quote you the freezing point of the implants. In normal curcumstances the chance of them freezing would be extremely remote...and if you were in dire circumstances for any reason and were aware of the possibility you could take preventative measures.

Thermal undrewear for her chest would be a simple and effective solution.

She also makes certain that she bundles up in cold weather before spending time outdoors. Because she has just a thin layer of skin and muscle sitting atop the breast implant, there isn't a lot of blood flow to keep the tissue warm. This increases her risk of frostbite and tissue damage if her breasts get too cold.

Unless she is running around for hours in the snow in freezing temperatures without any clothes on, I doubt it is going to be a problem. There are saline implants, which is salt water so it has a higher freezing point than regular water, and silicone, which would probably have even a higher freezing point. On top of that, her body will be heating her implants to counter any cold from the weather. Almost like she would have her own internal hot water bottles.

I did not mention reconstructive surgery or cancer so where did that come from, Try to stick to the facts instead of trying to inject fiction into my posts.

As for the implants, I believe they are salt water ones. I brought them for my wife a few years ago as an investment for myself.

I hope for the sake of my investment that nothing happens to them. Also I would not want to see her nipples frost bitten and have to be amputated.

I read of battery operated thermal underwear and I will have to have a look for it back home before we go to the snow.

It sounds like the skin above the implant and the nipple areas may be at more risk than the actual implant freezing. I have seen guys with frost bite hands and toes and the skin all around the area is black and dead. I would hate to see this around the nipple area. Not sexy at all.

Unless she plans on running around naked in the cold weather, she will be fine. I am sure she will be pleased that you are so concerned for her health and well-being
