Headless body discovered by Fishermen in Sattahip.

On Thursday evening, Police Lieutenant Raiwat from Sattahip Police Station made his way to Samaer San Beach to investigate the discovery of a headless body found by fishermen in the water. The badly decomposed body was recovered and taken to shore.

An inspection of the corpse suggested the man had been dead for at least 15 days and Police guess the man was a Cambodian Fisherman but this is only speculation until the body is formally identified. The lack of the head may be due to decapitation by a third party or it may have been eaten by fish according to Police.

A post mortem examination is now underway to determine if this is a murder investigation for local Police to deal with.

Death by swordfish or was it suicide? :o

It shouldn't be too difficult to determine if the head was eaten off, or cut off.

Yeah, of course the fish would start with the hardest, least meaty part of the body, when there are so many softer areas available!! :o
