Anyone know of a place to buy things such as phono adaptors, f plug adaptors and the such like ? TIA

Look at "Amorn" (?) in the basement of Tukcom (red building) on South Pattaya Road, ready made cables and free plugs/sockets to make your own.

Paul, Tuk Com has a booth with a lot of different connectors. Many are in boxes on the floor, and they have some in the back. They're very helpful in finding what you want.

I'm not sure of the floor number, but it's the floor that has "Computer hardware" listed on the sign - 3 or 4, I think.

In case you don't know where Tuk Com is, it's on Pattaya Tai, past 3rd Road (from Suk). The sign says "IT Center". You'll turn left from Pattaya Tai, and there's a sign pointing you to the parking garage (another left turn) a couple of blocks up. Short walk, or a tram that runs every 4-5 minutes, back to the store.

You can find just about everything electronic in there.
