Female suspect arrested following covert Police drugs operation and discovery of illegal Abortion Clinic.

We joined Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaidit and a team of special investigators from Chonburi Provincial Police Headquarters as they conducted a raid of a three-storey shop-house in Soi Potisan in Naklua on Saturday Morning.

The raid took place following information that the premises was being used as an illegal abortion clinic and an undercover officer was also able to purchase class 1 drugs from the owner of the shop-house, Khun Romaya aged 46.

On the 2nd Floor an abortion clinic was discovered and a woman who was about to have an abortion was found. She was in the process of receiving a glucose intravenous drip prior to the abortion taking place. Drug taking paraphernalia and 20 Yabba tablets were seized during the operation.

Khun Romaya was in a highly distraught state as she clearly realized that she was in serious trouble. Police tell us she will be charged with dealing in class 1 drugs and operating an illegal abortion clinic.
