Last week at MBK we seen a women wear a knee length dress saying "Girls Like Giving BJ's".

Bringing her to your hotel would take the walk of shame to a whole new level.

humour its called - might be crude, but never the less humour. :o

Within a week of Sept 11th 2001, I saw T-shirts depicting the burning twin towers and Bin Laden, being worn in BKK.

You say crude but never the less humor, you're fuc$ing sick man.

The difference being one is harmlessly mocking herself, the other is being disrespectful to thousands who painfully died and showing support for a terrorist group.

While walking through Tesco one day I saw what appeared to a middle class mother and daughter doing some food shopping. The 12 or 13 year old daughter had a bright yellow tee shirt with the following caption painted in large, bright red, "CAUTION - SEX MACHINE". My guess is they had no idea what it said, they just liked the design. It would be like most of us buying a tee shirt here for the cool looking dragon or naga and disregarding the writing on the shirt.

You will not believe this but I swear it is true, last year I was entering Perth from Bangkok and in the immigration line was a small, chubby rustic Thai womon with two kids in tow. She was dressed in track suit pants and a T-shirt.

The kids were pretty shabbily dressed as well.

Her T-shirt said "I <deleted> for free".. I am serious..I wanted to hang around to see who was picking her up at the airport (nosy bugger that I am) but I didnt see her after that so I supposed she was delayed.

I nearly agree with you, but remember back to how quickly the jokes appear across (UK) phone networks whenever a tragedy/crime occurs(its called British humour) ALL these t-shirts are in a foreign (Fashionable??) language and/or relate to matters OUTSIDE of the country where they are worn. They never take the piss out of Thailand &/or Buddha because the TOURISTS (& Ex-pats) would not find it funny.

I find them funny but then again fools are easily pleased (but HAPPY) :o:D

I see lots of the punks not dead t-shirts in Ranong. Also a friend of my wife had one, Yo Ho Ho Merry Clitoris. I told my wife who told her friend. I haven't seen the t-shirt since.

Maybe we give the benefit of the doubt too freely. I was in a friends bar last night, and the usual dress/ tee shirt seller came around. 2 of the girls bought the same tee shirt bearing Thai script front and back (which I cannot read). When the missus arrived I asked for a translation and she told me it says "pissed, every day".

I have always said this country is like travelling back in time 50 years - what were the girls in the West doing 50 years ago? Shock value I believe it's called.

As for the girl with f... you, you f...ing f.., whilst I did spill my tea over the keyboard laughing when I saw the pic, this is one universal word that all Thais understand - shock value again.

And not only in Thailand. Women around the world are expressing their sexuality. I am in Sydney at the moment on business and from a distance in the middle of George st I saw what appeared to be the perfect woman, tall confident, amazing figure and expensive jeans , handbag , shoes and a t-shirt saying "fukcing big tits" and they were.
Nothing like stating the obvious is there !,...

Now that is a rare T shirt in thailand ! :o

Saw a young lady strolling though Central Chit Lom in a tee shirt which read "You know your boyfriend wants me".

Judging by her appearance (somewhat stunning) half of the girlfriends probably did as well.

well im going to try to lighten the subject up !

Sweetchariot, you probably need to adjust your timeline from 50 years to 40 years. In 1958 in the West, you would never find a woman wearing a t-shirt like that. But in 1968, you would find a lot of women not bothering to wear t-shirts at all. Now those were the days....!!!!!!!! :o

If Americans can wear army/navy/airforce regalia, then others can wear Osama shirts IMHO.

To come out with such a stupid comment you have to be one of them brainless fools who wears a Che Guevara t shirt, the murdering communist terrorist.

People can wear what they like but if it is blatantly offensive then they cannot cry and plead innocence when they get into trouble.

If i'd seen someone wearing that in England i would have said something in LOS you just let it go.

Typical American attitude. Believe in freedom of expression, as long as it's something they agree with.

pickel: On the right track.

howtoescape: Do you still think it was Osama destroying the WTC? most americans don't.

How was Che murderous terrorist? and why?

I've seen foreigners(who can't read thai) wearing shirts with thai writing on them that is laughable too.

I've also seen western girls in the west wearing shirts with prints on them such as "slut" and "porn star" etc.....

BTW: there is an All Black called Andrew Hore :o

In summary, so what.

Im English and like i said people can wear what they like no matter how offensive, but they have to expect someone who is offended by a blatantly offensive tshirt to use their "freedom of expression" to verbally challenge them.

If someone were to wear a tshirt glorifying the murder of millions of jews is that ok, or how about one supporting pedophilia, is it just a case that its their "freedom of expression" and people shouldnt take offence.

If i were to wear a certain well known sex pistols tshirt that could be redesigned to mock a member of another countries royal family is that something that is just "freedom of expression" or is it offensive.

Wear and do what you desire but if it mocks or glorifies people being murdered or abused then the person wearing it is obviously a fool.

Between the lines I can read that these people should get good bashing or killed HTC? Something what would be less likely to happen with a simple fuc3 off w/finger shirt I believe.

Wear and do what you desire but if it mocks or glorifies people being murdered or abused then the person wearing it is obviously a fool: And you think they deserve that?

Fools them are yes.

I think you live in the wrong part of the World by what I read.

You could run for a president/PM.

it also makes a difference whether a lady or a man wears a shirt with some print. personally i wouldn't mind to wear a t-shirt with "a blowjob a day keeps the doctor away" but i'm sure my Old Lady would raise strong objections :D

Tshirts are no big deal, but I'd take the time / take along a native speaker before I got a (e.g.) tattoo done in a foreign language. :o

Someone I know had a big, sprawling macho tatt done in Chinese script that said something like "supermarket" in it. :D

Since I truly believe in freedom of expression, people should be able to wear the shirts you mention above, provided they are in a country where it is legal. It's only a tshirt <deleted>. You just berated Jefferson about the American military shirts when most of them glorify murder, so you're saying the American military are fools?

Ive never seen an American army tshirt with pictures glorifying murder of Muslims, its usually a green or beige camouflage and part of a uniform meant to help people blend into the scenery as far as i'm aware.

Then you haven't seen the ones I have.

i.e.

"Join the Marines. Travel to exotic places and meet interesting people, and kill them."

"Kill 'em all, let God sort them out!"

"Airborne, death from above."

Thank you for proving my point. :o

The best T-shirts I have seen so far:

Screwing skeletons (about 20) with the headline NAIL ME

and

Homefukcing Kills Prostitution

Did make me laugh also when saw these first time, around 12-y old I was.

So this guy is admitting to own these shirts for a cheap laugh.

I cry for both of you.

If HTE is brit then there are him and ex-PM so far.

This is an serious matter and I started it kind of (off topic). It should end here.

Whats wrong with cartoons? Have you ever read a danish TV-mag?
