I Need An Extension Of My Non B.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I need to use another entry on my Multi Non B, this is due to the fact that my wife and I have had to wait almost 6 weeks for an appointment just to hand in a tourist visa application at the Italian Consulate.

I fell sick a couple of months ago and have been unable to walk since. Always being the optimist I bought a wheelchair, but this proved to be too dangerous in Bangkok and too much hard work for my wife. So I have been confined to my apartment since.

My latest stamp runs out soon and just the thought of having to do a run is stressing me out. Is there any chance of getting an extension due to medical reasons?

I think I am eligible to get a 7 day extension on this stamp for 1900.-, but I am not sure if that will give us enough time to get the visa from the Italian Consulate and I can't overstay due to the impact the last couple of months has had on my finances. Could I get an extension based on the fact that I am now married, and at what cost, we will not be staying in Thailand so would we still have to show income of 40k a month?

Any advice on what to do?

Scouse.

You can obtain a 60 day extension of stay from immigration using section 7.23 of Police Order 606/2006 (to visit wife). Cost will be the normal 1,900 baht and TM.7 is used for application with a current 4x6cm photo. With a medical certificate there might be a chance your wife could do the footwork but for sure it should be available if you visit immigration. Special documents required are:

1. Application form

2. Copy of applicant’s passport

3. Copy of census registration

4. Copy of the Thai national’s ID Card

5. Copy of marriage certificate or birth

Thx for the info Lopburi3. Would I be correct in assuming that '3. Copy of census registration' is the tabian bahn?

Correct.
