Blank Calls On My Land Line Telephone

Featured Replies

We get a strange blank calls almost daily. Sometimes, a small kid speaks a broken english, and never speaks anything but "who is speaking..!!".

I suspect that there's someone else behind the line & trying to use a kid as disguise. Its become a nuisance, and our Apartment's office staff is not keen on helping me.

If i use a caller ID instrument, can i track the number, OR is there anything like enabling a service from TOT, even if i buy a caller ID phone?

I dont want to disconnect the phone, as i get imp calls regularly, and i want to know who the caller is...

Any thoughts ? Any similar experiences ?

Thanks

you can buy a caller id phone for your landline..it is around 600 baht... :o

Once you get the number you can do a search to find the address on this website.

If you're lucky it will turn up the name of the house owner too.

A guy I knew years ago had the white pages in English on a CD-Rom. It was possible to search by name, address or phone number, but I haven't been able to find it myself.

Caller ID will not work on a TOT line unless you have SPC enabled.

Costs an extra 30 baht per month.

A bargain if the calls are bothering him.

Do the caller id's work on True (TA) lines I wonder?

It is only a bargain if the service works.

I found it erratic.
