JimmyConway
Songkran in Patttaya is certainly not for the geriatrics, or the young nerdy types who also whinge.
IanForbes
OK OK I'm outta here in a dignified manner. Whatever you choose to do when Songkran arrives whether you love it or hate it have a nice day!PS: Thanks for the laughs Phatcharanan glad someone has a sense of humor. sawatdee It is NOT a bloody DAY! It lasts OVER A WEEK! I wouldn't care a whit if it was ONE day! I agree. What would happen if you carried a baseball bat and a squirt gun with a mild acid for a "return to sender" message? I guess you could always walk around in chest waders and a raincoat. It would act like a sweatsuit and you could lose a few pounds.
MisterFingers
"The less they want to get soaked, the more fun it is to completely soak them." -- Samuel Clemens (1878) I'm going to organize some people to go door to door. If a farang answers the door, he'll get completely soaked with a pail of water. I also know other people who are going to go "bar soaking" at night, basically getting all the patrons soaked in a given number of chosen beer bars. There will also be a "night watch" on all entrances to walking street, including the sois. This Songkran will be much more intense than previous ones. It's not a game anymore. It's a mission. If you are a farang in Pattaya, you will get soaked. No more Mr. dry guy. You'll be singing the blues to put the "song" into songkran.
