April 22, 200818 yr I'm an Australian currently in BKK on a multiple entry Non-Imm B visa. On my current stamp, I'm good until 19/June. My Visa's "Must be utilized before" date is 16/Aug. I am about to buy a return trip ticket to Australia for Christmas. My plan is to take a visa run around 01-Jun, and then another 15/Aug, which will see me through to Thursday 13/Nov. I then intend to take another visa run, this time on a tourist visa, (till 13/Dec) and then fly home on the 12/Dec, and organize a new multi Non-Imm B visa for my return leg. Anyone see any problem with this? Will I be allowed on the plane in Australia without an onward ticket from Thailand with a non-Imm B visa? That's the only potential pitfall I can see ...
April 22, 200818 yr If you have a visa of any type, you will probably not have any problems boarding a plane to Thailand.
April 22, 200818 yr Author Thanks guys. If I attempt to do a visa run on the 16/Aug (remember that the "Must be utilized before" date is 16/Aug) will they extend at the border for the full 90 days without a problem, or should I go on the 15/Aug to be safe? The border guards won't care that I'm changing from a "Business" visa to a tourist visa? I assume they'll ask me if I'm still working in Thailand or whatnot.

April 22, 200818 yr I have actually done this myself as a UK citizen coming back from Melbourne with no onward ticket. I was questioned as to why i had no ticket and supervisors were brought into the conversation, but once they saw i had Non Imm 'B' they understood and there was 'no worries' as they say.
