Hi I just bought an Asus Eee 4GB Surf Notebook. Does anyone else who has one want to share the good points with me :o

Go get yourself on of those USB hard-drives for storage and you'll be good.

Also a USB flash drive [8Gig is only 990Baht now] is a must to expand memory.

Look for some posts by "tywais" here about optimizing the setup which can save even more memory.

I have one now for a while and I love it.

The EEE runs Linux, doesn't it? If so, is there a "memory" benefit by using a USB flash drive, like there would be with ReadyBoost on a Windows XP or Vista platform?

You can install XP on it also. The flash drive gives you more disk space to add programs not virtual memory space like ReadyBoost, or you can use the SD memory slot though still acts as a disk drive (which is what I have - 2GB). A couple of topics you can look at.
