I've been a longtime reader... first time posting.

I'm looking into the possibility of bringing a large group to Phuket for about a week sometime next year (prob. around march-april) and we would like to rent out a full hotel. I was wondering if anyone can think of any hotels which might fit my criteria...

Here's what we need:

4-5 * hotel (or similar boutique hotel)

60-100 rooms (can be slightly flexible on this but we do need to rent out the entire hotel)

Private beach

Nice Pool

Large Dining room (where we can hold a banquet)

Some multi purpose rooms (to be used for game room - kids etc..)

Nice grounds for outdoor play etc.

(Perhaps something like the JW Marriott on a smaller scale - that's the only one I've been to in phuket)

Only one I know of that has a "private beach" would be the Meridien between Patong and Karon, although they certainly have more than 60-100 rooms.

Thanks for the reply... Yeah the Meridien is way too big. I guess private beach is not as important as long as it's on the quieter side of things (not Patong...) and as long as they have a nice pool...

(P.s. I am interested in contacting hotels directly, I prefer not dealing through tour operators etc...)
