Visa's

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Help needed here. Please can anybody inform myself,if there is such a thing as an Non-Immigrant O-A [Long Stay] Multiple entry Visa.I have always thought it was a single entry only, with the normal 90 reporting, and a re-entry permit required if you leave the country.

The reason I ask,is my Father has been told he can have an Non O-A, Multiple Entry, valid for life from the Embassy in London.

Thanks for any input on this

A friend of mine had one, but only valid for a year. He then did a border run just before expiry and was stamped for another year, but will require re-entry permits during his 2nd year. Never heard of any visa that would be valid for life.

It is only valid one year but yes there is a multi entry version and for the first year you do not need re-entry permits. It in effect covers almost two year stay as each entry provides a new one year stay during validity so if an entry is made just before it expires you are good for another year (but need re-entry permit for travel). You can continue to extend your stay one year at a time with proof of 800k or 65k or combination at a cost of 1,900 baht each year.
