Wow Experience Or Bad Experience

Anybody out there who uses Cailfornia WOW experiencing problems with staff? I've been a member for five years but lately have been getting more and more disappointed with the attitudes of staff who seem to think they are employed as upmarket models rather than customer service. Today in particular, a girl on reception in Paragorn was extremely rude to me and all I was doing was waiting for a friend to in front of reception, even if I wasn't a member her attitude would have been unwarranted but as a member I was astonished. She demanded to see my membership in a very condescending manner even though I explained that I had finished training and was waiting for a friend then when I flicked my wallet open to show her the card she insisted I handed it to her so she could check it was valid. Not a big deal but just another in a long line of incidents. Last month they told me my credit card payments hadn't gone through so I paid cash later I contacted my card company to find it had been paid, when i spoke to California fitness they insisted I produced proof of payment even though they had records and it was their fault, eventually after about four hours of my time they admitted their mistake but wouldn't give me a cash refund only a credit and of course an apology was last on the list.

Anyone else having similar wow experiences or maybe could recommend a decent gym in central bangkok where members are appreciated.

Fitness first is always good to me when I visit Thailand, also more have opened too.

Wow...I can recommend a very good gym "Fitness First" in Landmark hotel on Sukhumvit, Nana BTS. I was a member there for a year, but now I work out in our building. I loved that gym actually, they have many classes and very good service, and you can rent DVD's there for free with the latest movies, thats what I did.

I second that motion:-

- Pricing is what ever u can negotiate, and what is the colour of your skin and hair.

- After joining, hard sales tactics are used to up sell you more.

- after joining, find out there are many things that cost more if you want to join. (i.e. hot yoga )
