Where To Buy A Good Sea Kajak

Featured Replies

Maybe instead of pickles I might want to get her a kajak!!!!

I've only seen one shop, -the one on Thepkassatri road - sort of opposite boat lagoon. Anyone knows of another option?

Or has anuone got a good second hand one?

Thank you

Theres 4 models in the sport shop on central..

Seen em in the window of a boat store near boat lagoon..

Would like to get my hands on a wave rider.. used to have a mini thing when I was a kid.. great for wave surfing

for second hand, it may be worth asking paddle asia, dave gray sea canoe. you never know - they may just be wanting to get rid of some stock. worth a shot. krabi also has some shops but i cant remember the name of them.

from memory, the best place to buy them is in bkk. thats where a lot of the bigger companies buy from but you will have to google it i guess.

Has anyone ever seen a model similar like this sold

http://www.surfkayaks.com/

I would drop some baht on a wave toy.. Something with the weight back and very short, with a rail to carve waves.. Not interested in just paddling about / normal kayak, but could be fun getting bundled in monsoon surf (not that we get much or clean).. Plus cos they are small, easier to move about on a roof rack or pickup.

The one I had as a kid even had a detachable fin like a surfboard for increased stability once surfing.
