I am on the verge of divorce after 11 years of marrieage with Thai girl, having 8 year old daughter holding a Thai passport and studying in a Thai school. Now I am planning for PR this year, what will be my best option, any input and advice will be well appreciated. I have been living in Thailand since 1998 and holding an Indian passport, working as a health proffessional for a good Thai company with all legal documents and process.

If you haven't already, you should start by reading this thread which will outline what you need to do to apply for PR.

Dear Samran,

My question is related to my divorce before my application for PR?

Dear Samran,

My question is related to my divorce before my application for PR?

if you apply based on your work experience here, with three years of tax returns, then essentially, no. The only benefit otherwise would have been that if you are married to a Thai, then the fee for applying is half than that of being single.
