StrongView
Family will be getting bigger in a few months (new baby) and we're looking at a larger vehicle. The cheap bastard in me is eyeing these Kia Pregio's and Carnival's. The second hand models are ultra cheap and I'm trying to figure out why. Can anyone enlighten me? I'm leaning toward the Carnival, but would like to know if most maintenance shops (like the typical Shell Service or Somchai carshop) can get parts for them and know what they're doing when repairing. What's the good word? Edited May 14, 2008 by StrongView
jumnien
The Carnival had a bunch of engine probs in the past. I looked at one but was warned off.
LiveSteam
I have a close friend who has bought a new KIA and he is very disappointed. It’s got no guts and everything you touch seems to brake off in your hand. One day it’s the inside door lever the next it’s the back door opening latch. He has a very difficult time in Phuket getting up the hills without anyone in the car. He also says it tends to hydroplane on heavy rained on roadways. Spend a little extra and get a SUV like an Isuzu Mu-7. Buy the way he can’t sell it either, no Thai wants it. LiveSteam
