Trebilcock
Can anyone tell me, please, what would be involved in getting a Thai passport for my baby son, born and living in the UK? Thanks in advance for any info.
lopburi3
Suspect one parent is Thai? Believe it just takes contact with Embassy and birth certificate/Thai ID to start the process.
Trebilcock
Thanks for the reply, Lop. Yes, SWMBO is from LOS and wants a Thai passport so he can buy land etc when he's older.
dr_Pat_Pong
Thanks for the reply, Lop. Yes, SWMBO is from LOS and wants a Thai passport so he can buy land etc when he's older. Both parents have to take the baby to the Thai Embassy London for the proper photographs for the EPassport.

lopburi3
You believe wrong. All persons who need to apply for a new passport, or who wish to amend their existing passport, must contact the Royal Thai Embassy in London and arrange an appointment in person. http://www.thaiconsul-uk.com/pdfs/Jb%20%20...%20Passport.pdf
the scouser
You believe wrong. Having been through the process with my wife and son, with the great assistance of Samran, I can confirm that Lopburi3 is correct: no entity other than the embassy in London is in a position to assist. Scouse.
