Non 'b' Visa

Just a quick question.

Will a contract and a written letter of confirmation from my agency be enough to aquire a Business type visa for my employment at school.

What is the cost roughly for the above.

Depends on Consulate - most in the local area also require a work permit application receipt. Vientiane is currently reported to not require that.

I have a permit so all should be well in that case.
