Does anyone know why there is an immigration office in Korat?

No international airport, or port or border close by.

Because it is needed by many people living in and around Korat.

location is easy. leave korat for bangkok/saraburi.on the route 2, mitapup rd, 15kilom on your left is a large tot office. thats it. right on the side of route 2... tip get on the frontage road early, 10k? ish. theres a nice wat opposite .hope this gives the pic.
